The whole "one-night stands in Kpop" is exaggerated, some Kpop idols usually have ones but it isn't with other idols most of the time.
Male groups are quite gross, for example, one group were seen in a room j*rking off while watching p*rn
Some MUA willingly make makeup looks bad, most of the time it's because the company doesn't pay them properly.
The reason why some songs, especially girl group debuts, have similar concepts is that companies will ask producers to make a certain song sound like the one they’re producing, for example they will ask for the song to sound like a certain song, which is why teen crush and retro was everywhere last year.
Prostitution/Sponsorship is very common and disturbing. Trainees will be sold to rich people and are asked to do sexual things with them, idols/trainees only get 10% of the money from prostitution, and SM trainees/idols are very expensive. Trainees as young as 12 can be involved in this business.
In my 9 years of working in the industry, I have seen only 7 groups whose bond is as good as shown on camera or even better. 5 BGs 2 GGs.
Female idols smoke too, just better at hiding.
Most idols have good personalities and are polite.
The rumor about male idols having group chats about female idols is false. It's mostly actors or other famous personalities, maybe some veteran idols.
Groups from smaller companies are closer compared to the big 3.
There are groups who are genuine, not everyone is showing a fake personality.
Trainees are actually encouraged by the companies to date, especially male trainees.
Many trainees are in a relationship already with 16–21-year-old idols. This is because of many reasons. One, same entertainment. Two, transportation is minimum making the dating more private, and three, most idols prefer people who aren't completely out of the industry and not an idol.
If you see your favorite idol flirting or whatever with a staff member, it is not out of romance. For example, BTS do the smirking and staring thing just to fluster the female staff who are mostly married or work-focused. The company is strict in tiny details.
Idols wanting to expose their relationship are many. Like one member of the BTS maknae line. Why? Because they want fans to know but the company doesn't. So the staff members see idols helping with jackets, roses, letters to other idols
